Kayla Hibbs is a classical guitarist from Louisville, Kentucky. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in
Guitar Performance and a Master’s degree in String Pedagogy from the University of Louisville,
where she studied under Dr. Stephen Mattingly.

She has performed internationally with the United States Guitar Orchestra (USGO) on their initial tour of various venues in France in 2019 and again toured with them in Spain in 2022.

With this ensemble, they recorded Myths of Persephone by Kevin Callahan with soloist Xavier Jara and conductor Kami Rowan. She’s also performed across the United States in New York City’s Carnegie Hall, Mt. Zion, Utah, Bloomington, Indiana, Louisville, Kentucky and in
Greensboro and Highlands North Carolina.

Kayla is dedicated to sharing her passion for music through directing the Louisville Guitar Orchestra and offering individual instruction. She teaches at institutions such as the String Preparatory Center at the University of Louisville, and Two Grand Studio.

Michael Cleveland began playing professionally after he graduated from high school, first with Jeff White and later with Dale Ann Bradley and Rhonda Vincent. Since he was young, however, Cleveland had dreamed of leading his own band. In 2006, he formed Flamekeeper, the seven-time recipients of the IBMA’s “Instrumental Group of the Year” award. Flamekeeper includes Josh Richards, Nathan Livers, Jasiah Shrode, and Chris Douglas. In addition to touring with his band, Cleveland has performed with a legendary list of bluegrass greats. Nevertheless, he remains rooted in his local Southern Indiana community, where he continues to play with friends when he is not on tour.
Widely considered the bluegrass fiddler of his generation, Cleveland has been recognized 12 times as the IBMA’s “Fiddler of the Year” and in 2018 was inducted into the National Fiddler’s Hall of Fame. His recording Fiddler’s Dream was nominated in 2018 for a Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album, and in 2019, he won a Grammy for his album Tall Fiddler. In 2019, Cleveland’s amazing life of adversity and achievement was featured in the documentary film Flamekeeper: The Michael Cleveland Story. And in 2022, he was awarded the National Endowment for the Arts Heritage Fellowship.

Mike Hyman is a jazz drummer who has been active in the professional sphere since he was a preteen. Some of his earliest recording are with Jamey Aebersold for his play along series! Hyman toured and recorded with the legendary jazz tenor saxophonist Joe Henderson while still a teenager. He has had a 40+ year career in jazz that has taken him around the world with greats like Gary Burton, the aforementioned Joe Henderson, Stan Getz, Gerry Mulligan Big Band and many others.

There is something distinctive about Pianist Nada. Shaped by an uncommon life journey across cultures and traditions, she has emerged as an artist whose performances possess a rare immediacy. In concert, her music seems to exist outside of time and place, as though reality briefly recedes and only sound remains.

Her concert activity has taken her to leading venues across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America, including Salle Gaveau and the Auditorium de Radio France in Paris, Yamaha Hall in Tokyo, Assembly Hall at the American University of Beirut, and Severance Hall in Cleveland. She has appeared with orchestras and ensembles such as the Lebanese National Philharmonic, Belgrade Chamber Orchestra, Louisville Orchestra, and Lakeside Symphony, and has participated in festivals including Montpellier and Salzburg. Alongside traditional concert halls, she remains deeply committed to music’s social and educational role, performing in schools, hospitals, and other pioneering venues worldwide. “My passion has defined me as a communicative performer with a unique musical personality,” she says. “Music is my first language, and I have a deep love for it.”
