Equipment Check-Out
Members of Local 11-637 are entitled to reserve the rehearsal hall and, borrow equipment for use in the rehearsal hall or at a rehearsal or gig outside the union hall.
Use the following form and procedure to reserve the hall or to borrow equipment:
- This system will allow members to borrow equipment for up to 24 hours (or less) and reserve the Rehearsal Hall for up to 4 hours (or less).
- If you have specific requirements for extended borrowing (such as out-of-town gigs), equipment may be borrowed for longer periods by contacting the webmaster for extended check-outs.
- You will receive an auto-generated email confirming your reservation and/or your equipment loan request date and times.
- In the event of a conflict in using the hall or equipment, the individual holding the reservation confirmation has use priority.
- 24-48 hours before your equipment rental, you will receive an additional email with a personalized code enabling access to the equipment closet in the Union Rehearsal Hall. The code is only active for your equipment checkout and is tied to your Union membership, so please do not share this code.
- After your gig, use the same code to return the equipment to the closet in the Union Rehearsal Hall. Please make every effort to hang equipment up neatly, matching the rack number with the equipment number. All borrowed equipment will be inspected after return – damage or missing items will be charged to the member and the member may be restricted from further equipment use in the future.
